24 Weeks!

Okay, I realized that it was HIGH TIME I added a belly picture... I kept waiting until I looked super cute or until Bryan could take it, and I figured it was about time that I just took one... no shower yet or not! So here's the 24 week BELLY!

Nesting

Okay, I'll confess. I'm nesting full force. That's a good thing, though, right? So remember my last post, the bedding I was IN LOVE with? Well, I found a better deal on some other bedding. So don't think I'm fickle, the truth is, I'm just a bargain hunter! I prefer this bedding, because for 10 dollars less than the other bedding, I get EVERYTHING pictured! The other bedding was only a 4 piece set, and this is a 10 piece set! I found it at Amazon, and I'm very much delighted in myself. I think it's super cute and feminine. But don't worry, I won't paint my walls the way the walls in the picture are... um, ew. I think it will look lovely! I'll have to send you a picture when it's all set up :) Isn't it beautiful though?

Yesterday I found some adorable boxes at Michael's to put all of her clothes in. So I have all her 0-3 mos. outfits in her dresser, then her 3-18 mos things that I have in these lovely little girly boxes! What do you think?

Bedding and An Incredible Find!

So I found some adorable new bedding on sale at Walmart. What do you think? I know it's really pink, but I'm girlie, what can I say? What I like about it is that it's subtle and should match with anything... since Bryan and I are in a transition time in our life, I figured that getting something loud and hard to match would be a bad idea. Just thought I'd share it with you.

Also, one of my biggest dilemma's lately has been finding cute maternity clothes. It's a real challenge! All maternity clothes (and I really mean ALL because I've tried it all!) in department stores are wayyy to big for me, not to mention frumpy as all get out. I think they think that 45 year old women are the only one's getting pregnant these days. Don't they realize that us teen girls are getting preggo too???? So anyway.. I'm absolutely thrilled because I found a gorgeous consignment Maternity Store that sells designer maternity clothes for a quarter of the price! Dancer?

So just a quick update on my little dancer. I've totally concluded by now that she is, in fact, a dancer. A hardcore dancer. Yesterday at church, Bryan and I sat closer to the front than we ever have. The drummer started worship off with some strong kicks to the bass drum... and little Peyton started off on her own rhythmic pounding! Haha. It was so fun. I've never felt her kick like that before! So either the drums really freaked her out, or she was choreographing her own dance routine in there!

It's A Girl!

Yup, all of my intuition was correct :) Baby Flores is a girl! I've known for about a month now, I guess I just haven't had the time to sit down and write it to all of you. Her name is Peyton Spring, and I can't wait to meet her!

It's crazy to think that I'm already a little over halfway through this pregnancy. It seems like just yesterday we were trying to conceive and I was dreaming about what it would be like to be pregnant--thinking it would never really happen. It's amazing to think that now, here I am, halfway through this pregnancy with a big ol' belly that kicks!

It was wonderful to see her in that ultrasound. To glimpse for even a moment her face, her legs, her arms, her little tummy, and to see her perfect little heart beating rhythmically. Life is such a miracle. I've never understood that until now. And perhaps I don't even quite understand it yet...

I'll have to post another belly pic soon! I'm growing daily now! It feels like I'm in someone else's body! It's almost hard to imagine what I look like with a flat stomach! I can't even remember!!! Haha. Although I love pregnancy, I am excited to get my body back ;)
